Asia on the Rise: Strategic Significance and Implications

In this report, the AIV concludes that the rise of China will continue over the next 20 years. The big challenge will be to further integrate China into the system of global governance and persuade it to take its share of responsibility for finding solutions to global problems. It is also important that both established and emerging countries reach agreement on the international ground rules of a future world order.
