Open Letter to a New Dutch Government

In a letter to the Senate, the House of Representatives and the incoming Dutch government, the AIV observes that imprudent cuts to foreign policy spending could harm Dutch interests. The foundations of Dutch foreign policy – including Europe, development cooperation, defence and other core elements – may no longer be self-evident, but an active foreign policy is nevertheless essential to the Netherlands.
