The EU and the Crisis: Lessons Learned

The AIV believes that stronger European supervision of banks and financial institutions is needed. In this connection the European Council must take over the role of the Eurogroup. In addition major efforts need to be made to strengthen EU crisis management and combat protectionism and state aid.
