Employing Private Military Companies: A Question of Responsibility

In Afghanistan (Uruzgan) the Netherlands is largely dependent on private contractors in areas such as local air transport and fuel and food transporters. The AIV believes that it is very much in the public interest to ensure that issues relating to the employment of private service providers by the Dutch armed forces are central in the political debate.
