The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Regime: The Importance of an Integrated, Multilateral Approach
The guiding principle of any non-proliferation strategy should be an integrated and multilateral approach. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty at the heart of such efforts is being eroded, however, in part because the existing nuclear weapon states are not (or are not sufficiently) moving towards full disarmament. This is one of the main conclusions of the AIV’s advisory report.
