The Netherlands and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2003: Role and Direction
In the view of the AIV the Netherlands should set aside extra funding in order to make its 2003 Chairmanship of the OSCE a success. There is little scope for national focus areas in this regard. The agenda is determined largely by the need for the 55 member states to respond appropriately and in a unified manner to international developments. Conflict prevention and post-conflict rehabilitation should be the priorities.
