Universality of Human Rights and Cultural Diversity

In this report the AIV focuses on various issues related to the concepts of cultural diversity and universality of human rights. When addressing the question of how cultural diversity relates to universality of human rights, it is important to remember that human rights are an expression of a culture and that human rights standards always have to be applied in a specific context.
