Advisory request Social protection in Africa

In response to the request for advice on social protection in Africa, the Advisory Council on International Affairs (AIV) has tasked its Development Cooperation Committee with preparing the report on this matter. The government has requested the AIV to produce a report on the importance of social protection initiatives for the poorest and most vulnerable groups, in particular in Africa, and whether it is advisable for the Netherlands to become involved in these initiatives through development cooperation.
